Chiles Fiske, of Augusta, shows off his first goose -- a hefty Canada goose he killed while hunting with his dad, Chip Fiske, at Phinizy Swamp Wildlife Management Area in Richmond County. Chiles was using a 20-gauge youth model pump shotgun with No. 4 steel shot.

Hollis Land took his grandson, Dixon, on a hunting trip in Gibson on Oct. 25. It was Hollis' 55th birthday. Dixon, 6, bagged a six-point buck.
