EVANS, Ga. - Mrs. Minnie Stewart Ross, wife of the late Forest Ross, entered into rest Sunday, March 9, 2008 at the University Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at Starling Funeral Home, Harlem, Ga., with the Reverend Dan Rosser officiating. Interment will be in the Hephzibah Memorial Cemetery, Hephzibah, Ga. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Gollmer, Walter Gollmer, Wayne Stewart, Mark Metz, John Metz, and Carl Ross. Mrs. Ross was born on November 9, 1916 in Augusta, Ga. to the late William and Julia Stewart. She was a retired bookkeeper for Alterman's Foods of Atlanta. Mrs. Ross was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, Carl Ross of Appling; two daughters, Sybal Bracken, of Martinez, and Judy Metz, Port Orange, Florida; and seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
