DEARING, Ga. - Entered into rest March 7, 2008 at his residence, Mr. Charles "C.J." Joyner, 69, husband of Mrs. Mary "Shara" Joyner. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 1 p.m. in the Thomas L. King Funeral Home Chapel with Fire Dept. Chaplain Capt. Tommy Cox officiating. Interment at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Mr. Joyner was born in Augusta and was a former firefighter with the Augusta/Richmond County Fire Dept. Survivors include wife, Mrs. Mary "Shara" Joyner, Dearing, Ga.; three daughters, Deborah Jean Rowland, Augusta, Donna Lynn Moore, Hephzibah, and Lekeshia Shea Menendez, Dearing, Ga.; three brothers, Bobby Joyner, Augusta, Moe Joyner, Augusta, and Ronnie Joyner, Belvedere, S.C.; grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Sam Partan, Harmon Brown, Tommy Pritchet, Herbert Terry, Ricky Dudai, and Daniel Steele. Honorary Pallbearers are members and retired firefighters with the Augusta/Richmond County Fire Dept.
