BLYTHE, Ga. - Mrs. Ellen Allen Sellers was born on January 18, 1925, in Parksville, S.C., to Joe and Addie Allen. She was the widow of Horace Sellers, Sr., of Blythe, Ga., and the mother of four children, Horace Sellers, Jr., who is now with the Lord, George Sellers of Blythe, Ga., Jo Ann Holbert (Larry), of Blythe, Ga., and Gloria Fritch (Mark), of Asheville, N.C. She was the Grandmother of 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She was the sister of Lindbergh Allen (Chris), of Parksville, S.C., and William Allen, now with the Lord, of Blythe, Ga. Mrs. Sellers was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, who loved traveling, reading, quilting and gardening, with a special love of cooking and the company of all her family and friends. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Blythe Ga. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at James Funeral Home, Wrens, Ga., and Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2009, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel at James Funeral Home, with services provided by Rev. Albert Halford. Pallbearers will be Mack James, Nick Bates, Lance Halford, Larry Holbert, Jimmy Dawson and Mark Fritch. Interment will be at Mount Moriah Cemetery. Flowers are welcome, but donations in memory of Mrs. Sellers to the Alzheimer's Association, 1899 Central Avenue, Augusta, Ga. or Trinity Hospice, 2260 Wrightsboro Road Augusta, Ga., are encouraged.
