HOW SHE FARED: Bivens won her fourth consecutive Richmond County cross country meet Wednesday. So far this season, no other runner has come within two minutes of her.

BIVENS ON BIVENS: "I try to practice as much as possible and when I do, I like to practice with the boys. I've been doing that all my life. I have high standards for myself when I run so I like the competition ... I'm really looking forward to state this year because the last time I was there, I was a freshman and I finished in 50th. I know I'm going to do better this time."

WHAT THEY'RE SAYING: "I'm most impressed with her endurance and her strength. She is just an amazing athlete ... (A.R. Johnson) is always looked at as an academic school and I love that, but I've always wanted to see the athletics get a little bit more attention. For her to do what she's doing for A.R. Johnson athletics is great." -- coach Gregory Johnson-Monroe
