Silver Bluff keeps region mark perfect

PETTICOAT JUNCTION --- Silver Bluff remained perfect in Region 5-AA as Robert Green and Andre Washington combined to score five touchdowns in a 41-3 victory over Edisto on Friday night.

Green rushed for 172 yards and scored on runs of 41 and 69 yards to open the game's scoring.

Washington, who had 75 yards on the ground, scored on a 9-yard touchdown run and two 5-yard scores.

Silver Bluff is 6-2 overall, 3-0 in the region.

VIDALIA, Ga. --- In a Region 3-AA matchup of evenly-matched teams, Vidalia gave up an early score to Laney and that was all.

The Wildcats' first-quarter touchdown came on Martin Epps' 70-yard kickoff return.

Vidalia improves to 4-3 overall and in the region. Laney, which has also played all region games, is 3-4.
