Highlights from the second half of the Dutch Fork vs. Aiken matchup.

LEXINGTON, S.C. --- Loranzo Hammonds passed for 226 yards and five touchdowns as North Augusta beat Lexington 41-29 in a Region 5-AAAA game on Friday night.

Matt Hazel caught three of the TD passes and ended up with six catches for 112 yards.

Hammonds also rushed for 65 yards. Vinny Miller led the Yellow Jackets in rushing with 134 yards.

North Augusta (9-1, 5-1 Region 5-AAAA) plays host to Aiken on Friday.

SPARTA, Ga. --- Aquinas earned its first Region 7-A victory of the season behind the passing of Dane Anderson.

Anderson threw for 268 yards and four touchdowns, two of them to Garrett Pippin.

Aquinas is 1-3 in the region. The Irish are 4-5 overall and can finish with a .500 record with a win over visiting Washington-Wilkes next Friday.

Lions quarterback Tyler Roberson hit 10 of 14 passes for 104 yards and one interception.

IRWINTON, Ga. --- Lincoln County rallied for a victory over Wilkinson County in a game that decided the Region 7-A champion on Friday night.

The teams entered the game unbeaten in region play.

Wilkinson led 6-3 at halftime, but it didn't last long.

Lincoln scored the winning points early in the third quarter when Franklin Sherman hit Ercell Daniel on a 10-yard touchdown pass.

The Red Devils are 8-1 and 4-0 in the region. Wilkinson drops to 7-2 and 3-1.
