AVERA, Ga. - Mrs. Joyce W. Hadden, 75, wife of the late Samuel "Tee" Hadden, entered into rest Sunday, November 1, 2009, at University Hospital. The family will receive friends this evening, Tuesday, November 3, 2009 from 6:00-8:00PM at James Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 3:00PM at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Avera, GA with Rev. Donald Lumpkin officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Hadden was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and a 35-year retiree of Southern Bell. Her great love was her family-Nanny will be greatly missed. Her survivors include her children, Carolyn (Tommy) Farmer, Augusta GA, Cheryl (Clint) Hardy, Evans GA, Tracie (Ron) Bryant, Aiken SC, and Tommy (Candice) Hadden, Avera GA; two brothers, Jack Wilk, MS, and Gene Wilk, Augusta GA; a sister, Erlene Hanley; nine grandchildren, Trey Skeens, Augusta GA, Christy Ross, Columbia SC, John Story, Augusta GA, Greg Story, Evans GA, Clint Hardy II, Evans GA, Julianne Bryant, Aiken SC, Cory Bryant, Aiken SC, Tyler Hadden, Avera GA, and Sydney Hadden, Avera GA; four great-grandchildren, Savannah Rackliffe, Noah Ross, Madison Ross and Gracie Skeens; a very special nephew, Melvin (Debra) Hadden, Bartow GA; many other nieces and nephews; and many friends. Pallbearers will be Dan Faust, Bob Hadden, Brady Hadden, Dwain Hadden, Jimmy Hadden, Sam Hadden, John Padgett and Geoffrey Wilk.
