Jefferson rallies for its 10th win

DUBLIN, Ga. --- Jefferson County came alive in the second half to beat Dublin 17-10 on Friday and complete a perfect regular season.

The Warriors trailed 7-0 at halftime, and 10-0 midway through the third quarter against their Region 3-AA foe.

Jefferson County, which had two touchdowns called back because of penalties in the first half, then scored the final 17 points of the game.

B.J. Bostic scored on a 9-yard run with 1:06 to play for the game-winner.

Maurice Jackson had five sacks for Jefferson County, which plays host to Tattnall Square Friday in the first round of the Class AA playoffs.

Davis, a junior wide receiver, took over at quarterback for injured Raleigh Yeldell.
