GLOVERVILLE, S.C. - Lucille Marie "Lucy" Smith Corley, 84, entered into rest on Monday, November 23, 2009 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, November 25, 2009 in the Telfair St. Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Pullium officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Corley. Mrs. Corley was known for speaking the truth. She enjoyed bingo every week with her friends at Ft. Gordon. She was very active, enjoying travel with her family. She is survived by her daughter and her partner, Jane Orander and Debbie Purcell, Gloverville, South Carolina; two grandchildren, William Edward (Leslie) Stewart, III, Augusta, Jason Lee (Linda) Stewart, Martinez ; four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
